When I was a kid we used to spend the summer evenings watching traffic court judges throw the book at repeat offenders. It was pretty hilarious to watch some poor idiot lie to the judge and then wiggle like crazy as he realized he'd been caught. "Maybe a week in jail will refresh your memory" was enough to make everyone else in the courtroom gasp.

Friday Night Fights:

Fortunately, you have another option. Come to Net Heads and exercise your own abuse of power at Friday Night Fights, June 10th. Sign up at the store or they day of: 6pm to 1am - $20 our systems, $10 BYOC.

There's a chance we'll be seeing Battlefield 2 by Friday! If we can get our paws on the demo, we'll be definitely be checking that one out.

Midwest CPL Qualifier Results:

Glimpse of Reality went home with $1,500 and an autoberth in the top 32 CS teams in the country after our CPL Qualifier on June 4th. Pretty cool stuff.

Starting June 12th, we'll have new hours:
  Mon - Thu 11am - 11pm
  Fri - Sat 11am - Midnight
  Sun 1pm - 9pm

Father's Day - Dad's Play for Free

Yuppers, bring your old man in and give him a first class public thrashing. If we get enough Dad's we'll pit the old bulls against the young Turks. It'll be wits against the twits. Losers have to wear diapers.

Step Dads, Big-Brothers, GrandPa's, Priests and Scout Leaders are all included. In fact any male who can claim some responsibility for your misguided youth or who has thrown two cents into the genetic Petri dish with your name on it still plays for free if you sign in. Parole officers do not count.

Some form of identification is required - other than "hey, he's as ugly as me."

So bring Dad in early in the day, before Mom burns the roast, and have a little fun.

Like Anime?

A long time customer and friend of Net Heads, Corinna, has owned an anime store for some time now. Well, she's headed out west so her Indy store is closing up. She's having some great sales to sell off her inventory of anime and gaming stuff. She has DVD, comic books, shirts, playing cards and on. We told her we'd let you all know, so check out her sale at Otakurama.
