Volunteers are needed for focus group testing of some exciting new PC audio equipment this Wednesday, January 4th from 6:30pm – 8:00pm here at Net Heads.

As an attendee, you will test the equipment and give your honest opinion on your experience. For your time, you will receive a free pair of in-ear headphones valued at $49.99.

To participate, you must meet the following requirements:

1. You must own and bring your own set of gaming headphones.

2. You must be 15 years of age or older.

3. You must currently be spending 10 or more hours per week gaming.

It is, of course, free to participate.

We need upwards of 30 people to participate, so please tell your friends as well!

Trust me when I say we hate changing our hours as much as you do. Sometimes, however, it is necessary for us to adapt and change our focus so that we can continue to do what we love.

As of next week, we’ll be dropping Wednesday and Thursday off of our open days. Hopefully, those of you who have been coming in on those days will continue to visit us Friday, Saturday, or Sunday. The weekend hours will not change, and we will actually be adding a regular schedule of all-nighters back into the mix.

Moving forward, you’ll be seeing more promotions and activities out of us on a weekly basis, as we focus on making the Net Heads experience better and ultimately more fun for you, our loyal customers.

As far as when we’ll go back to more open days, all I can say is this. If you want to see us open on the weekdays again, keep coming in to play, bring a friend when you do, and spread the good word to all those non-NH’ers that don’t know what they’re missing.

Starting Thursday, December 9th,  members can add game time, day passes and Net Heads dollars to their membership accounts.  This is a perfect way to make a one-time deposit  and then streamline checkout procedures and not worry about cash to carry.  It’s a great technique for parents to teach budgeting and a more secure way to send kids to Net Heads.

And Net Heads Dollars can be spent on anything from from food to passes to game time.  They act just like regular dollars only they don’t get lost or stolen.

Even better, accounts can be PIN protected to be sure members are the only ones who can deduct from their balances.

Yup, this just keeps getting better.

I’m sure many of you will have questions, ranging from “why” to “why not sooner” so we’ve created a Beer and Wine FAQ for more information.  Parents will want to look at that.

However, please know that:

• We do not serve before 6pm
• No alcohol related advertising or products are visible in the store
• We’ve done this before

We know from experience that this is so low key that it is not a problem for those who don’t (or can’t) partake in adult beverages and it is a welcome addition for those who do.

If you have any concerns, please don’t hesitate to present them to the staff or management.

We changed our hours (again). We’re open Thursday through Sunday during normal hours. Sorry about the confusion, but we’re trying to fine tune our schedule. Holiday hours will expand as always. Now don’t forget and wander over only to find out we’re closed, check out the new hours on the bottom right hand side of this page.

New Age Restricted Hours

We’ve drastically altered our available hours for younger customers. If you – or a customer you know – is under the age of 15, please check out these new hours and days of availability for kids. Don’t set them up to play and disappoint them.

If you are an older teen or adult customer, you’ll be glad to know that we now have times dedicated to you. You might want to check out these new age restricted hours, too.

Birthday Parties

The terms and arrangements for any parties that are currently booked will be honored. However, we’ve changed our party time availability to coincide with our new age restricted hours.

Starting next week, Thursday through Sunday will stay the same, but we are going to be closed Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Quality over quantity is our approach here, and you’ll be seeing a whole new round of weekly and monthly events packed into those 4 days.
