Westwood Studios arrived at Net Heads with "Kane" in tow to promote their newest installment in the Command & Conquer series, Renegade.

200 people showed up to try out the game and meet Command & Conquer actors and Westwood Studios staff. Fans came in from as far away as Detroit to participate.

Discreet, developers of 3d Studio Max, were on hand to demonstrate gmax, their latest game "mod" building tool. It's a free download and is now available for Renegade.

Westwood picked up the tab for the games and the food and beverages. Net Heads newbies and regulars did their best to deplete NOD's credits by plowing through chicken fingers, french fries, our signature milkshakes, and Bawls.

Special thanks to sponsor Matt Fox for producing a video about Renegade and the event. Dial up commandos may choke on these, but broadband will work fine for most. The videos are big:R
